I cut off all the curly tendrils that are not holding onto something so the plant puts more energy into producing flowers

Oh this is lovely. Mine are struggling to get established where I have them.

these are in a pot with a clematis that i bought last year and had nowhere to plant. Hubby is growing his in the traditional manner ie in a trench with canes. mine flowered first hee hee!

lovely mageth, ive lots of foilage but no flowers yet,, im a bit scared to snip off tops and shoots, so much there im afraid to nip the wrong bit
