Very Tall Tree Ferns in The Botanical Building in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA.

The Bontanical Building is a huge lath house structure...this section of the lath house is 60 feet / 18.5 meters high. These tree ferns don't have too much more room before they hit the top.

It stays pretty warm in the Botanical Building...however, it only gets diffused ligh because of the laths...so it's perfect for most plants.
