I grow it in partial shade as I try to with all my hostas. I also grow most in pots as they get eaten by snails if not.

I have the same one, I just adore hostas almost as much as the snails :o( Hel.xxx.

Such a great leaf! Another one to track down for the garden, know just the border it will work in.
