Variegated Leaves
Varigated plants display different areas of of colour on their leaves, usually different shades of the same colour. A variagated leaf can be due to a number of reasons, and are often preserved for their attractiveness.
The lightness of colour in variegated leaves can be used in the garden to brighten up what might other be a solid block of dark colour.
