Oh no. Damn things. The trip wire should work as they like to wade in to feed, dont they. Do the pond sides drop down quite steep quickly? Lets hope it cant reach them. Always here, hope they 've not emptied us of our young mirror carp. Never seen one since they went in some 18 months ago.

Stunning Dawn...........
We've had a flippin heron, went out to feed the fish, usually its like feeding time at the piranha tank,lol, not a fish in sight, couple of days later I went out around 9 o'clock at night just in time to see it taking off from the pond, I've put trip wires round the pond edge 2 sides have a fence anyway, the ponds 8ft deep in the middle so wouldn't have thought it'd be able to wade anyway??, the fish are slowly reappearing, too big to net so hopefully it'll give up or the fish are clever enough to hide :-(
