I've been reading and taking your advice on the camera front and have got some great result today using macro zoom on the inside of flowers and some ace close ups of the sparrows and their pals. Will be starting a blog shortly to update on pond development so will post some on there as well as in my pics!
Thanks again for all your help & advice. I also managed to get meself a tripod, carry case and spare battery so well chuffed.
Hoping that my buddlia will improve. The flowers went brown in the tub but apparently they don't last long anyway? Not sure about that one. Have got a new bloom since planting it in border so who knows!!
Thanks again both :0))

Just this last week there seems a lot of butterflys around Bb - more than previous years I think. Spotted a couple of peacocks, couple of painted ladies, lots of whites and a comma on my buddleja. Not the masses I remember from years ago, but pretty good by recent standards. Have you noticed there are more this year?

Really nice Bonkers! A five foot tall Buddleia sounds perfect for my garden. I will have to see if it's available here.
