Lobelia 'Queen Victoria' (Lobelia cardinalis (Cardinal flower))

Stunning paintbox red flowers on top of burgundy foliage. A perennial Lobelia which loves to have it's feet wet.

I really love them all but they will not grow in my garden for some reason, have tried them and lost them all. Shame :o)

GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a wee smile to myself this morning - my 'daft' neighbour planted herself some winter flowering pansies the other day - I think she has used around 2 bottles of slug pellets around 6 plants. I'm hoping she will attract all mine, is that so wrong...lol!!

Beautiful. They always die in my garden too Olive, even in the damp. Maybe tender or clay haters. Lost L Tupa too :(

had mine over 4 years and even after snow but maybe not enough warmth and sun this year karen, see if they appear next year.
