Ficus bengalensis - Indian Banyan Tree

This is my poor Indian Banyan tree after the big storms last week. The winds ripped about 85% of its top leaves off.

It grows very quickly...however, Indian Banyan tree is the only Ficus species that I know which goes semi-dormant in winter here.

i hope it recovers soon. it looks so sad....that wind certanly left its mark..

This tree will take a little longer to recover. Indian Banyan tree needs extreme heat and long days for them to grow quickly.
