I don't have the variegated one I have the A. megapotamicum even now its still covered in flowers its an excellent plant we put a thick layer of mulching material round the base at least 6" thick /high we thought we had lost it one year but it resurfaced eventually ....

Amy we really need to mulch ours, the poor thing gets all the bad weather, and is very exposed too....

Mulching is on my reminder's list, but it is still warm here, but wet, and I don't want the mulch rotting.

This is new this year, but I had this variety years ago, died of neglect, very dry warm position then.

Same abutilon shaped flowers, red and yellow, but smaller than other varieties. This actually had flowers on when I bought it.
