New white flowers on this Acaena with the old burrs, which contain the seeds. I bought seed of the microphylla with red burrs, but OH knocked over the pot and I lost all the seed.

Useful creeper for the front of the border or fill gaps, not that I have any of these.

Bought a Bronze leaved one? If it has red burrs, please would you send me some seed? I bought seed last year of bronze Acaena microphylla Copper Carpet and OH knocked it into the bath....please don't ask!!!!

Naughty OH, lol. My OH was doing some work on the garage guttering the other day - ladder straight into the borders, I was cringing as the plants were knocked and squashed, and we thought slugs were bad.

Into the bath!! the mind boggles lol, of course I will can't remember the name and its yet another I forgot to add to my garden but I'll look out for the burrs no sign of any yet.

Thinking about it, the burrs are from last year's flowers. There are new flowers just starting, couple in the picture, so probably not this year.

What else?
See who else is growing Acaena microphylla (New Zealand burr).
See who else has plants in genus Acaena.
