I wonder if I can grow this indoors here in New York.

In bright light and kept dry in winter, it should grow pretty well. I have a few outdoors in pots and they like to be kept very dry in winter.

Sounds like my kind of plant.

It truly is a desert plant. It tolerates lots of heat and sun without much water at all.

Yes, it does. I do like the colors of the wall, also.

Alexandramou:
Adenium typically blooms within the first year from seed. It can be grown from cuttings; however, this is extremely difficult. I've tried several times without success.

Hope you are enjoying the holidays. :o)
I am hoping mine will bloom this year. They need a bigger pot, roots sticking out of the bottom. This spring they are going out on my balcony...a sure way to see some flowers!!!
I will post a pic of them soon.

Yes, the holidays are very good so far. :>)
Adenium needs even more sun than Plumeria, as it's a desert plant. My plants, ever since they were very tiny have been outside in my back yard where they get the blasting south sun all year.
