Happy 4th of July! My Desert Rose is in full bloom right now. It's been a slow start to the summer season with the cooler than normal temps here in San Diego, CA. Photo taken July 4, 2019.

Stan,
Yes, it's been a cool year so far. Luckily, it's not too hot like last year's record heat and humidity.
My Plumerias are flowering and this desert rose is flowering very well considering the cooler than average weather.

Balcony,
Thank you! It's growing and flowering very well, now. We're finally getting some hot weather coming in (95ºF or 35ºC., possibly hotter)...it's been usually cool for San Diego these last couple of months.

It looks to be the second straight cooler than average summer for me. The first three years my Mango Andy had sweet fruit and more ( a little more) by the year. Last year was a downer for amounts. This year looks to be the same. One warm summer I thought about thinning out then little plant. Not enough to thin this year.
Great desert Rose. Just too hard to keep long term here. If I ever make a small greenhouse..then,I try again.
