I like this variety. Mine started blooming in late December, but they’re not quite as spectacular as last year. All I know is that they’re loving the rain.

btw,In the background up against the garage wall are two bottle palms I've grown from seed. They've taken 2 or 2 winters so far outdoors.

Wow! That’s impressive!
I need to take pics of a row of bottle palms planted in front of an apartment building near me. I just discovered them 4 months ago. I think they’re about 5 or 6 ft tall.

I won't say mine are thriving now in winter. I was given the seed so it's all a trial as the years go by.
