We planted quite a lot of agaves, this one had orange candelabra flowers.

Just goes to show, no matter where you live, the jungle or the desert and everything in between, gardens can be real show stoppers ! This is so lovely.

Thanks ladies, your right Flcrazy if you go with whats already there and add a bit of height and structure, it can be quite nice. We were lucky in that there were terraces of wild lavender, tarragon, thyme and curry plant giving you a base to work with.
