This Elephant's ears had a very fragrant flower.

Most Alocasia species and varieties grow extremely fast. I have Alocasia portodora and it was put into the ground as a 2 foot plant in mid to late Sept. 2008...now it more than 5 feet tall. I have a feeling mine will be larger than this plant by this Sept. They grow to 15 feet tall here.
Do you have Alocasia portodora? They can grow very tall in pots also.
