well that is very different isn't it? love the colour. thought it was kniphofia at a quick glance.

That corner gets dawn to dusk sunlight. THAT,I've noticed over the years is how you get an Aloe to grow a full raceme of flowers. I just need to prune some older worn palm fronds off next to it. Soon,the spring small prunings start. I've been doing much,much, tree limb pruning the last month.

Love it!! A real hot exotic! I'd love it in my garden.
It looks like a 'better version' of kniphofia.
