Alstroemeria..... (Alstroemeria aurantiaca (Peruvian Lily)Pink.)

First flowers.....these were very tiny cuttings from T&M never thought they would survive.

they usually need some sort of support. When I lived on the I.O.Wight, the large greenhouses I worked in grew alstroemarias, for the florists, they also grew roses, carnations and chysanthemums.

I know the feeling, we used to grow tomatoes on a grand scale, in a previous life, and boy was it hot, was a lot younger then so could stand it!!
