Hollyhock, black. (Althaea rosea)

Terribly affected by rust and wind. At least they are flowering but not things of beauty!

Hi M... not connected with these lovely hollyhocks but related to our conv. about archaelogy tours...
This year has been so dry that the hollyhocks got a break from the worst of the rust season. will have to post a pic of the red ones. (seeds sent to me by Amy)
