19 feet tall giant amaranth hybrid

This was an accidental creation. It was a cross between a tall, late flowering Amaranthus hybridus from Zambia and a Amaranthus australis (giant amaranth). Most of the plants were between 18 to 19 feet tall. All plants are completely sterile. Grown in Ewing, NJ, 2008
