Amaryllis 'Charisma' Hippeastrum

A lovely variety. There are sales now in all the Garden Centres but they haven't reduced the price of these yet, only the Christmas decorations (shame).

Thank you Feverfew. It took less than a month to take it from a bulb to flower. I will let it leaf out and then put it in the fridge for couple of months to see if I can make it bloom again next year.

I have Christmas cactus, Kalanchoe and begonias in bud...as well as a white phalaenopsis. Heard you had some snow! Happy New Year, Klahanie!

My bulbs are doing nothing at all, I think they've kicked the bucket. Happy new year Klahanie.

This one is pushing out another flower stem from the bulb (to my delight). All the best in 2017 Thorneyside.

This is a beautiful one Klahanie! I've found that they will easily flower again with just a little tlc... :o)

Thank you Petaltracey. Good to know as I like it. This one is sending out another flower stalk. I do not have much experience with amaryllis or house plants in general.
