Taken back in April when my new tree flowered.

The poor thing had a nasty accident, too. While it was 'parked' against the fence in its pot, waiting for the Hebe to be removed, the farmer who 'hacks' the local hedges drove past, and my poor Amelanchier had a haircut! I had to trim the top growth to tidy it up, and looking at it now, you wouldn't know, thank goodness.
I wasn't happy at the time, though. :-((

Whew, I can imagine. Well if it can survive that!

Yes, you're right.
It looked a bit in need of water this week, so it's had a good drink. :-)

Ours flowered as well, it is such a lovely tree.

I'm worried about mine - its leaves have started to go brown! I've watered it and have to hope it was the hot weather plus wind that's done it. :-(

Its just a wee baby at the moment, but I love the way youve teamed it with the pink cytisus. Its always a joy when something flowers for the first time.
