DD - this has opened in the last couple of days so should be in flower for the Open Garden. If the weather stays cool, there should be some flowers left on the magnolia in the back garden as well.
Brian - this variety has a very upright habit, although I would call it 'Gawky Teenager' rather than 'Elegant Ballerina.'
