King Palms in clusters on Coronado Island. This palm is a dime a dozen...very, very common, however, it always looks good growing in clusters. Photo taken Oct. 8, 2010.

Thanks! Coronado is one of the nicest communities in San Diego County. It's extremely expensive to live there: a tiny house would cost a million dollars.

Yes, they're graceful, very fast growing, however, they prefer a lot of water. It's native to Queensland, Australia, along rivers and streams.
