If it gets enough water it probably will...
My large Howea seems to be loosing all its flowers. It has 5 or 6 flowers spikes for the first time. It's been in the ground since 2005 or 2006. It has 7 ft of clean trunk now.

Same here..its first flowering after many years in the shade of the house. The peak of the house is at least 20' and its gone over that now.
The flower spathe on Howea's is a strange looking thing. Alien like. Its been a slow unfolding and I understand it takes at least a year for seeds to ripen. Like Monstera,you have a long wait.Nothing tropically fast with those two.

Yes, Howea flower spikes are odd-looking. I hope it will set seed! Howea seed take 3 - 4 years to ripen (from what I've read).
My Monstera deliciosa that flowered last late summer are ripening now. It's very difficult to know when to pick them. Most of the time the ants will get them before I can, when ripe.
