Arctotis 'Apricot'

Arctotis 'Apricot' (Arctotis)

This is a new plant, as the one I planted last year didn't survive the winter.

Thanks, and yes...I missed the previous one, so I replaced it. It's one of those plants that just carries on flowering right through the so-called 'summer'.

Indded Spritz

3 Jul, 2012

Well - have you seen any sign of it yet, Denise? :-((

3 Jul, 2012

Sign of what Spritz?

LOL. I don't think we're getting any 'summer' this year by the sound of it. If that jet stream would only shift itself, we still could, though! <sigh>.

4 Jul, 2012

Its very cold here and still raining here Spritz. Perhaps we will have an Indian summer?

4 Jul, 2012

Oh, that would be lovely! :-)

This year, I think I've only managed to sit out for lunch once - or maybe twice.

4 Jul, 2012

Thats really unusual considering where you live.

4 Jul, 2012

We get the prevalant westerly winds. :-(

4 Jul, 2012

Oh right, I used to live on the east coast and hated the winds there.

4 Jul, 2012

My new Prunus and Amelanchier trees' leaves were damaged by easterly winds. They're recovering, but it was a bit upsetting.

4 Jul, 2012

Wind can do so much damage.

4 Jul, 2012

I thought my two Nandinas were 'goners' but they've both recovered. :-)))

7 Jul, 2012

Thats good news.

7 Jul, 2012

We are growing a beautiful orange one, posted a few days ago, has silver leaves, they are not hardy B so will not come through a winter. (shame!!)

9 Jul, 2012

It is, but they do last until the frosts, so I think they're worth it. :-)

10 Jul, 2012

Very easy to take cuttings so I gather.....

10 Jul, 2012

Maybe we should try it??
