Arisaema griffithii

Not the easiest plant to grow. It needs a moist but not waterlogged soil in part shade during the growing season but fairly dry during winter (but not so dry that the tuber dries out). It is also borderline hardy so either mulch heavily in autumn or grow it in a pot and bring it under glass. Two feet tall but the flower is close to the soil. It also starts into growth late but is soon in flower
