There certainly are, Jac! They are so lovely for colour at this time of year. :-)) My friend gave me a piece of hers last year - and this is the result. I'll find out how she did it!

Lovely flowers. You say they grow anywhere... how about in shade? Any chance an aster could take shade?

This clump is facing east, Valerie - I also grow taller Asters towards the back of this border, so they don't get much sun, really. They flower happily every year! I would think it's worth a shot.

Did you find the Chrysogonum virginianum? It's STILL flowering after 6 months! :-)))
