Thanks for all your lovely comments Paul. I love them too - I lost a couple when I first moved here as I didn't move them before the builders came and with all the cement etc most of them died. I have however managed to nurse one for the last 3 years and this year it is look great and there are buds - albeit not very big so I live in hope!!

Do you have ericaceous compost with Them Scottish - a bit pricey stuff but well worth it - I put a fair bit of mulch on too - yours look great in this shape

My soil is ok for them Paul....although this and another 2 are just new. This still needs planting out but the one I have rescued is looking great and I just gave it a wee feed now and again - just to make sure!!
