Thanks, Marie - I'll try to pot up a piece, if you'd like it??

24 Oct, 2009

That would be fantastic! Thank you! :~)))))))

24 Oct, 2009

Don't know how long it'll take to root properly, but I'll do it and pop it in the coldframe.

24 Oct, 2009

Thank you so much!

24 Oct, 2009

:-)

25 Oct, 2009

Very pretty flowers. You wouldn't object to this one spreading

25 Oct, 2009

This is very pretty..lovely blue...
How do you control it, Barbara?
..just dig out unwanted roots ?

25 Oct, 2009

Yes, basically, Tt. It's not like the Jap. Anemones with their deep roots.

25 Oct, 2009

Okay. thanks...
If any spare root, please may I join the queue for a piece, after Marie...?
forming an orderly queue here..Lol.

25 Oct, 2009

Yes, of course - always supposing I can pot some up! :-)

25 Oct, 2009

If there's a queue forming I'd like to join please.
Maybe not, there'll be nothing left of the poor little thing :~))

25 Oct, 2009

LOL. I shall have a line of pots, won't I! I'll try, Pip. I have another plant in another bed, so it may well be OK. I think I'd better add a reminder to the plant on my page.

25 Oct, 2009

Thank you Spritz :~)))

25 Oct, 2009

I've done it, so if they take, I'll get back to you for your address. Good system, this reminder thing!

25 Oct, 2009

Thanks :o)

25 Oct, 2009

The reminder will be something I will use in the future and try to be organised for a change

25 Oct, 2009

Heehee - I'm not, so why should you be? LOL. (sorry - not meant to be rude!)

25 Oct, 2009

Just thought it would make a change LoL.
So unorganised I hadn't realised the clocks went back until I logged on here. Year after year it happens and I still never learn

25 Oct, 2009

STOP PRESS!!

I have potted up some little rooted pieces - only tiny at the moment, so not ready to send to you, but it shouldn't take long for them to establish! :-))

25 Oct, 2009

Brilliant !!!
Thank you Spritz :~)))

25 Oct, 2009

Fingers crossed, now!

25 Oct, 2009

While we are in the queue, looking forward, please, to comfy chairs and tea and biscuits...Lol.

25 Oct, 2009

Outside,of course, staring at the coldframe, WILLING them to root fast! hahaha. I shall put the kettle on - but you'll need a torch, as we don't have street lights here. (Good - on clear nights, you can see the stars!)

25 Oct, 2009

Can't do that Spritz. It will look like the Harrods sale camp-out LoL

25 Oct, 2009

Outside, staring at the coldframe ?
..yes, please... kettle on...
...shivery horticultural equivalent of Shop Till You Drop...
...Queue Till You're Blue..Lol.

25 Oct, 2009

Don't worry, Pip - there's nobody to see you. LOL. I have spare blankets, Tt. No shivering! :-))

25 Oct, 2009

I reckon I will name my cutting Spritz's Posch plant.. :o)

25 Oct, 2009

Mine's a coffee or Lady Grey please.
Mine will be Ging Gang Goolie - CAMPanula LoL ;~)))

25 Oct, 2009

Lol...Pip...
Sorry, Spritz... what a responsibility....
you've only just planted the cuttings and they already have names..:o)

25 Oct, 2009

I'm still laughing at you two! They had better 'take' now, hadn't they! Maybe I should write labels for them with their new names on? I wonder what Marie would like hers to be called?

25 Oct, 2009

Marie's plant ?

Pertharskyana :o)

25 Oct, 2009

Nice one. :-)

25 Oct, 2009

my birch hybrid is repeat flowering too. they are such good doers arent they.

25 Oct, 2009

They are indeed! Is yours similar? I know it's a prostrate one.

25 Oct, 2009

i must check the photos in my plant profile.

25 Oct, 2009

Too tired to think of a name for Maries .Had visions of 4 of us sitting in front of the coldframe, in the dark, wrapped in blankets, singing campfire songs, willing them to grow LoL
As I now think I am losing my sanity rapidly I think it's time for my bed

25 Oct, 2009

The things you lot come up with while I'm at work, LOL!
Pertharskyana, Terra? Different!:~)) Edinburgh Bells, I think! I'm an Edinbugger originally!
Sounds like fun, Pip! As long as I've got my thermals & my micro-bear with me!! Lol!
Sweet Dreams (of camp fires??)!

25 Oct, 2009

Harharhar....Pip thinks I will be out there with you three watching little pots in the coldframe! NO chance - I shall be in my comfy bed! Toast and marmalade in the morning anyone? And please keep the noise down. You'll disturb the sheep across the lane!

26 Oct, 2009

Iv this Plant Spritz & love it :)

26 Oct, 2009

Thanks for providing breakfast Spritz much appreciated LoL
I'm sure you wouldn't mind Jacque joining us if she digs hers up and puts it in with the babies.
Come on Marie, you've got to christen yours now !

26 Oct, 2009

:) lots 2 share as it just Loves My Garden :)

26 Oct, 2009

OK - Jacque's welcome to join us (you) round the cold frame! She can bring some more pots of Campanula in case mine don't 'take'!!!

26 Oct, 2009

:) xxx

26 Oct, 2009

You'd better not create another island bed as you will need the space for the forthcoming Jamboree LoL ;~))

26 Oct, 2009

Camping by the cold frame overnight I must admit we became very chilly, so we let the sheep into the garden and used them as living duvets for warmth....ooooh, cosy...

Washing our faces in the stream was a bit icy, but nice to have that running water for cleaning our teeth.

Please tell us where the next island bed is to be dug, so that we can light our camp fire on that precise spot.... The ashes will be good for the soil...

Many thanks to Henry for herding up the sheep first thing this morning, and getting them back in their field before anyone noticed......
...well done, Henry. :o)

26 Oct, 2009

I think I'd better break it to you VERY gently that the cattle in the farm up stream stand in the stream and............errrrr........maybe you'd be better not knowing, Tt!!! :-(((

H. is very good at herding sheep and cattle - in the wrong direction! LOL.

26 Oct, 2009

Does that mean your garden gets free manure from upstream ?
I wondered why Henry had all those sheep doing formation dancing. :o)

26 Oct, 2009

LOL. Oh Tt.......that's sooooooo funny!

26 Oct, 2009

LMSO!! Brilliant! Pip, you weren't paying attention, lol! I did name mine!!

26 Oct, 2009

I haven't written any labels yet - in case the poor little plants don't survive! We might be asking Jacque to help.....

26 Oct, 2009

LOL! Give her a shout!

26 Oct, 2009

Not until I know whether my babies are OK, or not! :-) No point in Jacque digging hers up yet, is there?

27 Oct, 2009

This thread is becoming exciting like David's stories...Lol.
I keep clicking on to read the next episode.....
Will the babies be okay ?
Will Jacque be asked to come to the rescue ? :o)

27 Oct, 2009

I think the episodes have come to a temporary halt, now. It's waiting time! Soorrryyy....

27 Oct, 2009

You're right, Spritz! We shall wait (im)patiently, lol! Dont let the fire go out though!!

27 Oct, 2009

Suppose the temporary halt could be called a "pregnant pause" LoL

28 Oct, 2009

OOOOHHH!!! Scandal! WHO'S pregnant?? Do tell! LOL. It's not me, by the way....... :-))))

28 Oct, 2009

HaHaHa :~)))))

28 Oct, 2009

Nor me!! Is it you, Pip??

28 Oct, 2009

No answer - could be, Marie! Just too shy to tell us, maybe. lol.

29 Oct, 2009

Couldn't possibly answer Spritz and Marie. I'm the reserved, quiet, shrinking voilet type LoL :~)))

30 Oct, 2009

Hi Vi! LOL.

30 Oct, 2009

And the band played "Believe it if you like" !!!!

30 Oct, 2009
