The Gold Medallion trees are just starting to flower here. They're so spectacular when they flower! I love the very sweet fragrance of the flowers. They flower through August, sometimes into mid-September.

Yes, I am lucky! We have so many tropical and subtropical flowering trees. Many of the tropical trees flower during winter. Hong Kong Orchids (Bauhinia x blakeana) are one of my favorites! It's widely used as a garden and street tree here. The flowers are very large and so sweetly fragrant! :>))

Fantastic. This would be great to grow being scented as well. The flowers are much larger than the Laburnum.
