Catharanthus roseus - Madagascar Periwinkle

My Madagascar Periwinkle which is about 3 years old or so...has been blooming profusely in the heat of summer. It was larger...however, I keep breaking branches with the hose. lol. Photo taken July 24, 2009.

Thanks!
This sub-shrub does actually benefits from the
accidental pruning. It has to be pruned every spring to
prevent the leggies (legginess) lol.
