Cercis chinensis 'Don Egolf'

I bought this redbud two years ago because I wanted a redbud with a different flower color and haven't been able to find 'Appalachian Red' yet. Compared to Eastern redbud, the flowers on this are closer to purple and will generally cover the tree from the base of the trunk to the tips of the stems.
