Chamaecyparis pisifera Boulevard

Planted this year. I planted one several years ago on the dry edge of forest but it really struggled there. Bearly surviving. I read somewhere it tolerates drought but I've found out that it does not. The one in the picture is planted in less dry conditions and plenty of sun.

Very attractive shrub - love the silvery blue. I think once its established for a couple years, it will be more drought tolerant.
