Another shot of my Clerodendrum.
These two flowers in the process of opening took my eye.

Thanks guys!
Michealla, a couple of people have posted photos of this on here, but they do seem quite rare. I haven't seen another one since I got this last year.
Janette, I must have taken at least ten to get this one - the wind was being very unhelpful!

Thank you Troddles.
Check out the "Butterfly flower" in the garden section of my homepage - there are a few of it fully open there.

Thanks Camillia - I like to have things which are a little different. This is because I now have a small garden with no lawn area, so I want the plants to be the focus of attention, not the garden as whole.

All beeing said....you have your own unique way of taking pictures. I can tell which ones are yours before I see your name.

Thank you Alexandramou. I used to be into photography about twenty odd years ago, but then life gets in the way! I still get frustrated when I think that I've got everything right and then there's a dirty big shadow in there!

Thank you Milky - as I'm sure you've worked out by now, I'm totally smitten with this plant! It was so lucky to have two flowers at virtually identical stages of opening in such great symmetry.

Yes, I use to be into photography as well... I wanted to be a photographer for National Geographic.....but life and other things got in my way. Oh well.
