When we broke the pot that this was growing in, it was full of rhizomes so I grew them and set them around the garden - I thought they were yuccas at the time, lol. Now that I know they are more of a tree, I think I'll need to relocate them.

Looks lovely these always reminds me of France, as when I first went there the first round about, one of the roads was lined both sides with these.

This brings back memories of my lost cordyline australis! It is/was in a very large pot and had grown to at least 7 ft. tall. We lost it this past winter during a snow storm (which is rare here..the snow I mean). Well, guess what? Just when we were thinking about digging it out of the pot we saw these baby shoots coming up. My husband sawed off the top and it is amazing at how fast those little shoots have grown in just a week. I loved that big cordyline...we called it "big daddy". But, it seems he lives on. Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures!

Hello Buffy
I thought I'd lost mine this Winter as mine has lots of brown leaves, then suddenly a couple of weeks ago it sent a flower up. There are new green leaves growing in the top, in the centre but the rest of the tree looks pretty poor. If your's has new shoots at the bottom that must be a good sign. Maybe its worth putting your question to the other members by 'Ask A Question'. Good luck.
