This is a Burgany Ti Leaf Plant. It's amazing these plants look so good...generally, the snails eat the leaves to shreds. The Catamaran Resort must use lots of snail bait.

You are so lucky you don't have snails. We have them here by the thousands...it is a never-ending battle. They eat almost every plant I have.
It is just the opposite in California...the green variety tolerates more sun and the red or variegated forms prefer semi-shade or early morning sun only.
