One to be taken care of then Sue maybe it will seed . Is your Pear a small patio or a fully grown mature tree ? .

My 3 pears are Mature but on a dwarfing rootstock as are my Apples, but they've been here 20+Years (that means I can't remember). I have to get the step ladder out to pick/prune the top,

Ah I see Thanks ! I'm interested because since moving to a smaller garden I've bought a patio Apple and then last week a patio Victoria plum but not as yet a pear .. having said that I've planted them in the garden rather than pots to save me watering and taking care of them ...
