Stan,

Are these your plants? I used to have several when I lived in the SF Bay Area. They were awesome plants!

No,these are growing in a mobile home park. These are premium mobile homes..very nice with small nicely landscaped yards. These are in one yard.

They're very nice. I used to have one large plant which was 3' tall. It would bloom so well in Mission San Jose.

I have one..nearly in bloom. Just think,I have it in a "hot spot" but its at least a week behind these plants. Only a half mile apart. Even I can walk that.
Same for the Fremont Mango..my Sapote cuts the sun out about 4-5 pm...but there is still 2 good hours of sun left in summer. Nothing I can do if I want my plant zoo. Other then wish for the lotto to get me to a bigger yard.

Yes, it depends on the plant and location how well plants, trees flower.

Yes, a plant zoo can sometimes cost one plants. I lost my Kiett mango tree because it got crowded out by other plants. Mango trees want full hot sun to grow well and produce fruit.
