Thanks Sticki!
Alex - my other one has none, but I was surprised to see this one bloom as I repotted them last year and it can knock them back so I'm told.

Do you think so Meanie last year it had become too big for it's pot , I split it into two smaller portions in seperate pots , they are healthy ( I looked at them this morning after seeing yours ) but I'm not sure that they are big enough to produce flowers this year , I will bring them in anyway to keep them warmer .......

Yeap....I repotted mine last year at the wrong time (autumn) and my flower spikes dried up....a big no no.

Amy - each pseudobulb is monocarpic (it only flowers once, then dies), and they flower generally in year two. So if the new growth is too small then it will be next year. However, they do seem to respond to a cold spell before warmth to encourage blooming.
Alex - that is indeed a real no no!
