Artichoke

Jess

By Jess

Artichoke (Cynara cardunculus)

In flower.
Had to chop it down as it is getting very windy and would have ripped the rest of the plant out.

Looks lovely in flower, almost a shame to eat them before they get to this stage!

What else?

See who else is growing Cynara cardunculus.

See who else has plants in genus Cynara.

This photo is of "Globe artichoke" in Jess's garden
