When I got up this morning these huge blooms on my Datura were hanging down like they do on a Brugmansia. By lunchtime they had snapped off!
I've put one of the "Expert" books in to show just how large they are.

I think that their size was their downfall! Huge water collection capability, coupled to their sail-like quality in the wind!!

Isnt there anything you can do to protect them for a while....Its heartbreaking....
