Hi Andrew. Beattie and I are in the process of buying Dietes seeds . . . any tips you can give us, please?

Sheila - I bought a plant so I can't give much advice about growing from seed (my 'bible' just says sow the seed in autumn or spring).
Once the plant is established, it needs moist conditions during the growing season (it grows beside streams in the wild) but less water in the winter. Do not cut off the old flower stems as these will carry new flowers the following season.
Sorry I can't be of more help

Thanks very much for that. We'll enjoy giving it a try, anyway.
