Autumn colour caught my eye.
Comments on this photo
The plant is new to my garden Siris but according to the nursery owner, this is the colour every autumn. It's listed as semi-evergreen but would expect it to be deciduous here in a normal winter. TBH, I thought Epimediums were all evergreen but now I know better!

Lovely leaf effect Scottish. We called at a country village Tesco Express on Sunday for ingredients for our usual picnic near some maltings with antique centres inside. A tree, near too, dropped the most beautiful shaded leaves all over the car bonnet and windscreen. Just the same colours as the leaves in your photo...so pretty and easy to brush off too. Sandwiches and bottles of drink by the way.

what a color, It seems that Epimediums are making a comeback. I have a few, like them because not so invasive as some ground cover.

Oh, I like the spots on this. Is the new foliage spotty or is it just its swansong!
