They do look like Asters, you're right, but they flower earlier......and not as tall as most Asters..

Ah...lists... so many plants I lose track sometimes. It's a challenge to keep up with new ones...but it's nice to be reminded from time to time of the plants that slip thro the cracks...(in my memory) . I just visit my friends on goY and add a few dozen more to the neverending list!
