A Christmas plant with bracts and blooms. Unfortunately, the photo was into the sun...it's not too clear. Photo taken Dec. 28, 2010.

They can grow much taller and larger than this...this is just a small one.

I usually buy a pot plant at Christmas but can never keep them very long.

They definitely grow better and faster in the ground. They seem to decline when grown in pots.
