This poinsettia flower is about 5 years old, I might have posted some pictures 5 years ago. Too old and too lazy to look for them :)

That's an old plant then! Many years ago, when we still lived in Spain, I was able to keep one for quite a few years & I got it to flower every Christmas!
How did I manage that feat? Easy, I put it inside a black dustbin bag & then put that in a dark cupboard every day then calculated the time it would need every day & the weeks it would need to be in there. I started when our children returned to school after the summer holidays (early September) & brought it out permanently in December, you could see the leaves changing colour after a few weeks!

Aleyna:
Your Poinsettia looks great! They're very common here in the ground. They can become large like a little tree.

I see them every now and then in soucal on google. But in the Canary Islands they are grown in every other yard. Very common to the point they are something you can see people really have a love for. Like Redwoods in the bay area- but, that tree is so huge..lol..
I'm starting to see them (Poinsettia's) more often here in the SF bay area..and larger. They aren't getting cut back to the ground by cold like in the old days.

Some areas of Southern California they've naturalized. Long Beach and around Encinitas (to name two) where there's thousands. The reason why there's so many in Encinitas is because of the Ecke Poinsettia Nursery. You most can't see them on Google because they're not in bloom.

Aleyna, you could prune off the two left trunks and the one smaller to the right, then stake up the one trunk to make a tree topiary Poinsettia.
The cuttings could be rooted too.

I notice more Poinsettia's now in people's gardens nowadays. It must be the newer plants have an appeal that makes people keep on the Christmas icon.
I have two.. a compact regular and a variegated. The regular hasn't even begun to color up..the variegated a bit of red.
Could be my porch light?
