That's it Panther - winter could be a dull time in the garden if it wasn't for these beauties. Actually saw a white one just last week in a nursery - didn't get it then but am thinking maybe my garden could do with a little more winter colour!!!

Bernieh, I have a white that has already started producing its bracts,...just so nice to see them.

You'll have to post some photos when it's in full bloom - think I'll definitely have to get one!

Bernieh, Panther:
Our San Diego Christmas plants are having competition with your plants in the Southern Hemisphere. It's all about
the competition. LOL! : > )

Thanks! This plant was a real anomaly...still blooming close to summer time.

The weather must be changing Andy, as winds over here normally don't come till March followed by April showers.

We haven't had consistently normal weather here in a year.
It's been crazy!

Strange is nt it, here today Andrews blog shows spring flowers a month early I think.

Yes, the weather has been so crazy...most likely, it's due to the very quick transition from El Niño to La Niña in the Pacific Ocean. It has a huge affect on our weather in the Western U.S.

Yes I understand that the ocean has an effect so does it to our weather too.
