Fritillaria acmopetala - 2010

Fritillaria acmopetala - 2010 (Fritillaria acmopetala)

I ordered some fritillaries last autumn but I don't think this should have been one of them - I think it's F.acmopetala from the description. For well-drained soil in full sun, reaching around 16 inches in height

What a nice surprise!

Yes I agree, what did you think it was going to be. Lovely plant anyway.

I'd ordered F.minuta which is completely different

Did you get that as well or was this instead of? (excuse the grammar)

Instead of. I ordered four different fritillaries from the same bulb catalogue - the others were the correct ones but this one wasn't. Not that I'm complaining, it just wasn't what I expected!

As for grammar, my grandfather always used to say "You should never use a preposition to end a sentence with" :-)
