That's why I chose this plant to try to get cuttings, Morgana! It's my favourite Gaura. :-))

Now I'm jealous!
At the risk of repeating myself, I lost both mine last winter. They were such vigourous plants too.

What a shame! Try again next spring - and take cuttings! Then you'll have extra ones in case. I AM sorry I can't send you one of these - they are already spoken for. I wish I'd taken more cuttings, now.

VERY easy to grow from seed - I have 5 on the go now for next year.
22 Sep, 2009
That's interesting! Where did you find the seed - or was it from your own plants?
22 Sep, 2009
All our local garden centres stock the seeds.
Mine are T & M.
After loosing mine I will allow a couple of seed pods to develop next year - you can always give the plants away if you don't need them!
23 Sep, 2009
I've never seen any seed packets! I shall have to look in the catalogues when they come. Also - I've never seen any seedpods! I shall have to be more observant, won't I!

I'm a bit fussy about dead heading, so niether did I.
Does this mean that my cunning plan is foiled & that I'll have to keep on buying seeds just in case?
The clue is in my forum name.
