Yes, they're finally blooming again. It's been far too long since they last bloomed. So glad the drought is officially over here. Although, we still probably won't get any rain until around December.

Thanks! I hope I can get my Dwarf Jamaican Heliconia to bloom this year, also. It has never bloomed and I've had it for 9 years. lol! :>)

Heliconia species are gross-feeders...they're pigs! They need a tremendous amount of fertilizer to bloom well. My Dwarf Jamaican Heliconia hasn't received the kind of fertilizer it needs to bloom. Maybe this year I'll get it. Most likely it's going into the ground in a pile of steer manure with lots of fertilizer mixed in...which I hope to be doing soon...as we're going to have some really hot and humid weather over the next week. :>)
